Artist 05​​
Artist 05 began with a marketing director looking for a way to stand out at the world's largest mining convention. After being invited to another event and seeing the increased traffic to their booth, the question was asked:
"Can we have one for our brand?"
And so Artist 05 was commissioned for
Hexagon, a global technology company.
The First Invitations
The story of Artist 05 really begins with Artist 04. Artist 04 was shipped into Las Vegas in order to showcase what is possible when Autonomy is put to work. This self-playing guitar presented a non-pushy way to engage in conversation with prospective clients. A simple ask of "What song would you like to hear?" created a genuine and memorable interaction with an individual in a sales focused environment. After establishing trust through this interaction with the self-playing guitar, the client would then think about the company's product offerings.

After seeing constant draw in a trade show environment and a genuine enjoyment from those present, the question was asked:

"Could we get one that tells our story?"
and so work began on Artist 05.

Artist 05 before its transformation into a Kuzma Self-Playing Guitar.
The company commissioning Artist 05 wanted to tell their brand story through the design of this self-playing guitar. A traditional analog guitar was chosen to contrast with the bright blue autonomous mechanisms. It creates a metaphor for what their add-on technology can do in other applications. The silver coated medallion showcasing their logo completed the piece.

Artist 05 is now a regular attention grabber at various international events. When it's not on the road, Artist 05 sets ambiance in the Mining Experience Center in downtown Tucson, Arizona at the Hexagon office.
